Browser Settings

Use

You must have the following browser settings:

  • Internet options set up to disable pop-up blockers. If you have used an external tool to block pop-ups from appearing in your Web browser, you must disable the block for the application to work correctly. In Internet Explorer, choose Start of the navigation pathTools Next navigation step Pop-up blocker Next navigation step Turn off Pop-up BlockerEnd of the navigation path.

  • Browser window set at maximized size

  • Internet options set up to specify how to check for newer versions of stored pages. For more information, see Specifying How to Check for Newer Versions of Stored Pages.

The following setting may or may not be required depend on the functions you are performing:

  • Advanced Browser Internet options set up to enable or prompt for the acceptance of ActiveX controls and scripts

    This applies to users who enter data in the Entry and Approval application via Excel.
