Setup Cloud Profiling Storage

To profile a cloud connection, you must set a location to store the profiling results.

Context

If you profile on multiple cloud connections, the location you set now is used to store all cloud profiling results.
Note
If you have an HDFS connection on the system, then the fact sheet output goes to the HDFS directory rather than the specified cloud storage location.
Note
When profiling on the same cloud connection type, the profiling and storage locations must be identical.
The supported cloud connections include:
  • Google Cloud Services (GCS)
  • Azure Data Lake (ADL)
  • Windows Azure Storage Blob (WASB)
  • Amazon S3 (S3)

Procedure

  1. From the Browse or Profiled Data window, choose Start of the navigation pathProfiling Next navigation step Setup Cloud StorageEnd of the navigation path. From the Profiling Status dialog, click Setup Cloud Storage.
    Note
