Example: Configuring How Line Charts Are Displayed

Use

You can use quick and simple settings to improve the standard display for line charts.

Procedure

1. Call the Chart Wizard from Web Application Designer or Report Designer.
2. Select chart type Line and choose Refine.
3. In the upper window Overview, select Series 1 from Series.
4. In the lower window Standard Series, expand the Line Properties node.
5. Select the required color.
6. Set the required width.
7. In the lower window Standard Series, expand the Area Properties node.
8. Select the same color for the marker as for the line.
9. Select a secondary color.

   You will not be able to see any changes in the preview.

10. Set the Gradient to Horizontal Middle.
11. Under Marker Shape, select Sphere.
12. Change the Marker Size, to 17 for example.
13. Choose Finish.
