Repository Explorer

Use

The purpose of the Repository Explorer is to administer course content.

Its functions fall into three categories:

All actions in the Repository Explorer are done at the level of reusable objects. Reusable objects are learning nets and learning objects (including their internal instructional elements ), as well as content files especially created as reusable objects. Reusable objects can be referenced from any context.

Features

When you start the Repository Explorer, a dialog box split into two areas appears:

  • On the left you have the content of the local repository.

  • On the right you have the content of the master repository.

When you work offline, or if there is no connection to the master repository when working online, you can connect to the master repository by choosing Connect .

All of the functions available for switching between the local and the master repositories are located in a dialog box between the two areas. You can only access these functions if you are connected to the master repository.

The functions specific to each repository are located below the relevant repository.

You can access the same functions in the context menus with a right click in the area.
