Item A test item, item for short, contains a question querying and evaluating a participant’s knowledge, skills, and abilities, possibly also including instructions of how to answer the item and possible solutions. The test author supports different item types.
Items can be weighted differently. This allows you to differentiate essential knowledge that must exist and weight it differently from knowledge that is of lesser importance.
A test item comprises the following components:
TitleThe title gives an indication of the content of the test item.
QuestionContains the actual question to be answered. Depending on the item type, this can also be a statement or an instruction.
NoteContains hints and instructions on answering the item.
SolutionsDepending on the item type, the solution can consist of two or more
possible answersor of
scale textsused to rate a statement .
