Creating Tests

Use

There are two ways to create test elements (short: test):

  • You can create a test without a template.

  • You can create a test using a template.

Prerequisites

To create a test using a template, you should have already created a test template.

Procedure

This procedure describes how to create a test without the help of the wizard:

  1. Right click the required learning object or learning net.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path New Element Next navigation step Test End of the navigation path .

    The Create New Test dialog box appears.

  3. Enter a name for the test.

  4. Select a test element template where necessary.

  5. Confirm your entries with OK .

  6. Enter the following data in the dialog box:

    1. Select the test type.

    2. To select the file for the editable content, choose Find Source File .

    3. To select the file for the displayable (read-only) content, choose Find Source File .

  7. Confirm your entries with OK .

  8. Save your entries.

Result

A new test has been created, if necessary by using a test template, and is inserted in the learning net overview or in the graphic in the relevant position.
