Using Configuration Scenarios
Use
You can use a configuration scenario to group configuration objects that are connected together. In addition you can display the objects of a configuration scenario and their relationship to each other in a graphic overview.
You typically combine the configuration of a complete process that is mapped as a process model (for example, as a process integration scenario or a process component interaction model) in the ES Repository together in a configuration scenario.
You can transport a configuration scenario together with all the configuration objects assigned to it. This enables you, for example, to transport all the configuration objects belonging to one configuration scenario from a test environment to a productive environment.
Procedure
Creating Configuration Scenarios from the Model Configurator
If you use a model from the ES Repository as a configuration template, you can have a configuration scenario created from the model configurator. In this case, configuration objects are grouped with the model configurator in the configuration scenario.
If a configuration scenario refers to a model from the ES Repository, the scenario name is displayed under Referenced Model (tab page ES Repository Model ).
Using the Model Configurator pushbutton you can call the model configurator for the referenced model from the configuration scenario.
