Defining Inbound Processing

Prerequisites

You have created an integrated configuration.

You perform the following steps to configure the inbound processing of the message.

Choose the Inbound Processing tab.
Choose the communication channel.

Only the sender communication channels that are assigned to the communication component and which correspond to a supported adapter type are offered.
Specify whether XML validation must be executed.
Enter the rest of the settings for the inbound processing. Note that the settings that are available depend on the adapter type chosen.

Example

If you have assigned a sender channel with adapter type RFC to the Integrated Configuration, you can, for example, specify whether user identities are to be sent from the sender to the receiver (principal propagation).
