Create Communication Channels Automatically

Context

The system can create communication channels automatically for business systems that are defined in the System Landscape Directory.

This function is supported for the following adapter types:

  • XI Adapter (only for dual stack installation)

  • HTTP Adapter (only for dual stack installation)

  • IDoc Adapter (Integration Engine) (only for dual stack installation)

  • RFC Adapter (for dual stack installation and for Advanced Adapter Engine Extended)

Procedure


  1. In the Integration Builder main menu choose Start of the navigation pathTools Next navigation step Create Communication Channels AutomaticallyEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Choose Continue .

  3. Select the required business systems. Use the checkboxes for this purpose.

  4. Choose Finish .

Results

Communication channels are created automatically for the selected business systems, based on the data entered in the System Landscape Directory.
