Conditional Billing Program

The conditional billing program is used to activate conditional rates for an active TOU exception.

You define the conditional billing program in the billing schema extension and assign it to TOU exception programs. The conditional billing program refers to a billing schema. You also assign conditional rates to the conditional billing program. These assignments mean the system executes the corresponding conditional rates for the billing schema extension for an active TOU exception.

The conditional billing program means rates can be controlled with a greater degree of flexibility during an exception period. You can assign the conditional billing program to several rate relationship groups and several TOU exception programs. This gives you several options for representing specific contract conditions and different types of rates including those for interval customers.
