Introduction

SAP Solution Sales Configuration, cloud edition is a cloud-based add-on application that enables SAP Sales Cloud applications (e.g., SAP CPQ) to support the configuration and definition of complex solutions that include hardware (e.g., servers, industrial machines), software, technical services (e.g., installation, maintenance), project-based services, and financial services, as well as combinations thereof.

The configuration engine provides bottom-up configuration capabilities (instead of the established top-down approach), and a new Eclipse-based environment allows for solution configuration and model data maintenance as well as seamless integration with downstream processes.

SAP Solution Sales Configuration, cloud edition follows the principles of an enterprise configurator, allowing you to model once and use the configuration capabilities across all SAP applications and all sales channels. It provides configuration capabilities and seamless integration into the fulfilment processes of SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA.
