What's New in Launchpads
Several changes have been made to the maintenance of Launchpads.
- Copy
The function Copy is now available as a line action. Previously, a launchpad had to be opened before you could copy it; now you can simply choose the icon in the Copy column and complete the necessary information for the new launchpad.
- Create Transports
The function Create Transports is now available as a line action. Previously, a launchpad had to be opened before you could transport it; now you can simply choose the icon in the Create Transport column. Additionally, this icon is only visible if the launchpad is allowed to be transported, that is, if the launchpad is a customer launchpad or if a system-alias mapping exists.
- System-Alias Mapping
The function System Alias Mapping is now available as a line action. By default, the icon in the System Alias Mapping column is visible for every launchpad even if a system-alias mapping is not possible. However, when the Show More Columns button is activated, the icon appears only for launchpads to which a system-alias mapping can be added.
- Translation
The function Translation is now available as a line action. Previously, a launchpad had to be opened before you could translate it. Now you can simply choose the icon in the Translation column to start translation. Additionally, when the Show More Columns button is activated, an additional icon, Translate Long Texts, appears in the column; short texts can be translated only if a transport request has been created beforehand but long texts can be translated without this precondition.
- Show Transports
In Expert mode () a new column Show Transports is displayed. Choose the icon in this column to display the transport requests used to transport the launchpad</p>
There is a new field, Show Repository Info, in the General Settings (). With this field, customers using links from Repository launchpads can now display all the information related to a repository link in a particular launchpad.
