The search allows searching for keywords or phrases in any column of the table below. The search is not context-sensitive and does not distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters.

In contrast to the search, filters provide other features such as text search, choosing a date range, selecting from predefined values or a filter dialog.

You can define your own views for specific filters you use frequently. If you define a default view, the application always opens based on the settings you have made.

Sharing Custom Views (Public)

You can share customized views with other users. Once a view has been shared, the recipients can also set it as standard. When users choose Save As, the option Public is displayed. to be able to share views, you require a role collection with the role FlexPublicViewEditor.

Manage Data Access

There are 3 types of data access rights:
  • Unlimited Access: Users are granted access to all companies and all sales organizations, including those that will be replicated in the future.

  • Limited by Company Code: Users are granted access to the selected companies. This provides access to all sales organizations that belong to the selected company, including all sales organizations of the selected company that will be replicated in the future.

  • Limited by Sales Organization: Users are granted access only to the selected sales organizations.

You can filter by access rights to one or more companies as well as by full access to all companies. To filter by access to all companies use the wildcard * in the filter.

If a user has full access to all companies, the value in the list page will be All Companies. Otherwise, the name and the ID of the companies the user has access to will be displayed.

If a user has full access to all sales organizations, the value will be All Sales Organizations. Otherwise, the name and the ID of the sales organizations the user has access to will be displayed.

You can select one or multiple users to grant access to. Here you can grant but not remove access rights. To remove access rights, you need to go to the object page of a specific user.

The access rights granted to this user

The report configurations assigned to this user. Only report configurations in an active and historic status are displayed. The detail page navigates to a specific report configuration in the Configure Reports application.

Add or remove access rights for the user. If you want to reduce the access rights, you first need to remove the previously granted broader access. For more information about possible use cases, see Manage Data Access

Choose this option only if you want to extend access rights. The system will merge the permissions as follows:
  • The Unlimited Access type replaces all existing authorizations.

  • The Limited by Company Code access type replaces any authorizations to specific sales organizations that are part of the selected company.

Choose this option when you want to remove access rights.

If the user is assigned to report configurations that contain the company code or sales organization you want to remove access rights from, an error message with details about the impacted report configurations is displayed. The removal of access rights is validated only for report configurations assigned to the user that are in an active or historic status.
