Create Request for Estimate Admin Objects

Creation of Request for Estimate admin objects enables users to define and manage Reason, Unit, and Business Unit objects required for configuration in the application.

Context

This task describes how to add reasons for actions such as reject, withdraw, and close, and how to define units and business units through the Admin Objects area. The process ensures that these foundational elements are in place so the system can categorize and report on bid activities with accuracy.

Procedure

  1. Create a Reason admin object.
    1. In the application go to Start of the navigation pathAdmin Objects Next navigation step Reason Next navigation step NewEnd of the navigation path.
    2. Select a Module, either SOW Bid or SOW.
    3. Select type.
    4. Enter a reason.
    5. Select a Rating, either Positive, Negative, or Neutral.
    6. Select Save or Add.
  2. Create a Unit admin object.
    1. In the application go to Start of the navigation pathAdmin Objects Next navigation step Unit Type Next navigation step NewEnd of the navigation path.
    2. Enter the mandatory details.
    3. Select Save or Add.
  3. Create a Business Unit admin object.

    2. Enter the mandatory details.
    3. Select Save or Add.
