Custom Lookup Configuration for Guided Buying

Set up custom lookup configurations that support Guided Buying integrations for Statements of Work in the Request for Estimate process.

Context

This task can be performed by the Buyer's Admin.

Procedure

  1. Log in as the buyer's admin and open the Administration Menu.
  2. Under Configuration, select Custom Lookup.

    The Custom Lookup List page opens.

  3. Choose New. The Add New Custom Lookup page opens.
  4. Define the following custom lookup field values:
    1. Name: enter: SOW_COMMODITY_CODE.
    2. Lookup Type: select SOW Commodity Code.
    3. Number of Segments: enter 3.
    4. Delimter: enter ;
    5. Add the following Key/Value field details.

  5. Repeat Steps 1-3.
  6. Define the following custom lookup field values:
    1. Name: enter: MDS_COMMODITY_CODE.
    2. Lookup Type: select MDS Commodity Code.
    3. Number of Segments: enter 2.
    4. Delimter: enter ;
    5. Add the following Key/Value field details.

  7. Once a lookup is created, download the template using the Download Data element, update the data and save it.
  8. To upload the template go to: Start of the navigation pathAdmin Objects Next navigation step Upload DataEnd of the navigation path, then navigate to the file and select Upload.
