In this guided tour, you will learn how to manually optimize charging at work by using fixed-power load management. This feature allows you to manually limit a charging station's maximum power available.
Make sure that your charging station is connected to SAP E-Mobility.
You can only manually adjust a charging station's maximum power if it is excluded from dynamic load management.
Some charging stations don't support fixed-power load management. Contact your vendor if that's the case.
SAP recommends using dynamic load management to automatically adjust the available power for a connector. Only use fixed-power load management if the charging station doesn't support dynamic load management.
Ready to manually optimize charging at work?
To manually configure your charging station's Power Limit, open the Manage Charging Stations app.
Select the charging station for which you want to adjust the Power Limit.
Navigate to Load Management.
Before adjusting the Power Limit for your charging station, make sure that you have excluded it from Dynamic Load Management.
You can now adjust the maximum power available to your charging station by using the Fixed Power Limit slider.
The Power Limit you set on the Fixed Power Limit slider is used as the highest power available on the Charging Plans section.
If you want to use both fixed-power load management and charging plans, set a Fixed Power Limit before configuring charging plans to avoid conflicting power values.
