In this guided tour, you can find out how to create charging plans to use scheduled load management.

You can use scheduled load management to create charging plans that limit your power use during certain times, for example at peak or off-peak hours when different prices per kWh might apply. You can also use it to protect your employees' charging infrastructure at home and limit the charging station's power when many appliances are used at the same time.

Note Before starting this guided tour, make sure your charging stations support load management. The OCPP parameter values needed vary depending on the vendor.

Open the app Manage Charging Stations.

Find the desired charging station in the list and open the details page.

Go to the Charging Plans section and select Add.

Please make entries in all of the mandatory fields:

In the Recurrence Pattern field, please select Daily.
Please enter a Start Time.

You can add periods by clicking on the Add button. For each period, you must enter a Duration and limit the Available Power according to your needs.

Note Please note, that you can only add periods of up to 24 hours.

Once you have created the charging plan, please select Apply. The charging plan will start when a charging session is started at this charging station.
