For OCPP-related events, the communication between a charging station and the central server generates two successive logs: one for the request, the other for the response. The characters displayed in the Message column (<< or >>) illustrate the direction of the communication.

• The characters >> mean that the charging station has sent a request or has responded to the central server.

• The characters << mean that the central server has sent a request or has responded to the charging station.
