A successful firmware update displays the following Firmware Update Status values: Downloading, Downloaded, Installing, Installed. Depending on the charging station model, an automatic reboot may occur after the Installing status is displayed.

When a charging station supports the TriggerMessage operation, the status Idle is displayed to indicate that no firmware update is ongoing. When this operation isn't supported, no status value means that the firmware was never updated, in any other case the last firmware update status received remains on the user interface.

To troubleshoot update issues:

1. Check the logs for any errors.

2. Download Failed status: Verify the update link and check your Internet connection.

3. Installation Failed status: Contact your charging station vendor for support, as there may be a problem with the new version.
