Display the Last Minutes' Load

Use

The global workload monitor usually reads the workload from the DSR performance database, which is supplied the data from the statistics files for the individual components once an hour. This means that you usually cannot show any data that is less than an hour old, and has not yet been written to the database.

So that you can also monitor the latest changes in the system performance, there is an additional function, Last Minutes' Load. Using this function, you can access the statistics files for the individual components directly, and display the system performance for a time period of your choice (for example, for the last 15 minutes).

Procedure

Start the global workload monitor by calling transaction ST03G.
In the Functions subtree, expand the desired component type and the desired component. In this subtree, choose Last Minutes' Load by double clicking it.
The system displays the Last Minutes' Load for <Component> dialog screen. On this screen, you can make more detailed specifications about the workload that you want to analyze.
The system displays the usual output area, in which the requested workload is output in an ALV Grid Control.
