Remodeling Semantically Partitioned Objects

Remodeling semantically partitioned objects is similar to remodeling DataStore objects and InfoCubes.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites are the same as for InfoCubes and DataStore objects.

Procedure

  1. In the Data Warehousing Workbench, under Start of the navigation pathModeling Next navigation step InfoProviderEnd of the navigation path, open the context menu for your semantically partitioned object and choose Start of the navigation pathAdditional Functions Next navigation step RemodelingEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Create a remodeling rule. Enter a name and description for your remodeling rule and choose Create.
  3. Proceed as described in the procedure of the object that the semantically partitioned object is based on:
