You use parameter effectivity in product structures and product assemblies during simulation. For more information, see Simulation.

Features

You can access parameter effectivity on the product structure or the product assembly screen. On the simulation screen, under Effectivity, select Parameter Effectivity to display the Effectivity Values screen area. You do not have to assign values to all available parameters. If you do not assign a value to a parameter, the simulated product structure or product assembly is not restricted by this specific parameter.

  • Depending on your customizing settings, you have the following list of parameters:

    • Class

    • Class type

    • Date

    • Plant

    • Start-up parameters

  • Additionally, you can select or deselect parameters using the Select Parameters pushbutton.
