Replicate Runtime Hierarchy
Use
With this app, you can manually replicate set-based and financial statement hierarchies to back end database tables after you create or edit the hierarchies in other apps. The app helps to improve the performance of hierarchy related analytic apps. You are recommended to periodically replicate hierarchies because in this way you save hierarchy snapshots that can be different from each other and you can select to view hierarchies based on the replication date and time.
This app is available for the roles of Controller and G/L accountant.
Note
When you replicate runtime hierarchies, the system updates the
data that is contained in database tables HRRP_NODE
, HRRP_NODET
, HRRP_DIRECTORY
, and HRRP_DIRECTORYT
.

By default, the app is set to replicate hierarchies immediately. If you do not want to replicate the hierarchies immediately, deselect the Start Immediately checkbox. If you want to replicate hierarchies on a regular basis, enter the start date and time as of which you want to replicate the hierarchies and the repetition interval.
How to Set Ongoing Replication
Start Immediatelycheckbox. If you want to replicate hierarchies on a regular basis, do the following steps:
Enter the start date and time as of which you want to replicate the hierarchies.
Enter the repetition interval by specifying how often you want the hierarchies to be replicated, for example, every 2 days or 6 hours.

Before you can use this feature for set-based hierarchies, you
must specify the hierarchies that are relevant for replication in Customizing for Controlling
under 
General Controlling
