Author DMS Integration (Enhanced)

The following improvements were made to Author DMS Integration:

  • Added a new setting to allow filtering of messages from SAP DMS.​

  • Added the ability to hide the description of the file when checking in. ​

  • Added the ability to disable the field Delete in DMS​.

  • Predetermining storage category​.

REFX – SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Link (Enhanced)

You can now import text from CAD drawings. ​

Separate by Materials Tool for VDS (New)

The Separate by Materials tool is added to Standard Layout. ​

URL redirection protection​ (New)

A new setting Enable URL Redirect Protection is added to the Security tab of the Plugin manager to control URL redirection.​

If this option is selected, only the URLs listed in the include list are enabled.​

Cross Section Tool (Enhanced)

The Cross Section tool has the following enhancements:

  • Cross section can ignore PMI. ​

  • Option added to lock in the scene. ​

  • Option added to hide outlines. ​

Plug-ins and Formats (Enhanced)

The following plug-ins and formats were updated:

  • 3ds MAX file format: 3ds MAX versions 2018, 2019, and 2020 are now supported.

CAD (Enhanced)

The CAD importers were updated as follows:

  • Solid Edge file format: 2020 support.

  • NX file format: 1872 Support (up to 1880), 1892 support.

  • SolidWorks file format: 2020 support.

  • General Fixes and Enhancements:

    • All CAD readers have been upgraded with improvements and bug fixes.

    • JTPMI: Added import option to control import construction geometry​

    • PLMXML Model view behavior change: Respects JT model views correctly.​

    • Solid Edge Occurrence Property enhancement: Reads xml file from the same folder as assembly to control occurrence properties. ​

    • JTPMI: Import option added to support ‘Reference sets‘ for JT files.​

    • PLMXML performance improvement (Author)​

    • SolidWorks: Import option Import Model View updated ​

    • Expose Matai API to Retrieve PMI Association ID​

    • 3DXML: Import PMI and Import Model View feature support ​

    • NX & JT: URL Text can launch a browser if the text contains a valid link ​
