Snap Tool (Enhanced)

The Snap Tool allows you to position a specific object (Source) precisely in relation to another object (Target) and snap them together. It has been enhanced to allow snapping of pivot points.

Components Panel (New)

The Components Panel is new. You can use this panel to preview a list of all components, the number of instances for each component, and to access component properties and metadata

DMS Integration Panel (Enhanced)

An option has been added to the DMS Context menu - Update command

Plug-Ins and Formats (Enhanced)

The following plug-ins and formats were updated:

  • AutoCAD file formats: AutoCAD 2017 is now supported.

CAD (Enhanced)

The CAD importers were updated as follows:

  • XMPlant format support (New)

    • XML dialect of ISO15926

  • CAD format enhancements

  • STEP file format:

    • Step part 21 STEP files referencing stp, STEP formats

    • Step zipped STEP files referencing zipped STEP formats (*stp)

  • Inventor file format: 2017 support

  • CATIA V5 file format: R26 support
