Production Planning with SRM Central Contracts as a Source of Supply
The SRM central contract can be taken into account as a source of supply in the MRP planning run and in the planned order.
The SRM central contract is available as a source of supply in the following transactions:
Single-Item, Multi-Level (transaction MD02)
Single-Item, Single-Level (transaction MD03)
Create Planned Order (transaction MD11)
Change Planned Order (transaction MD12)
Display Planned Order (transaction MD13)
Convert Planned Order to Purchase Requisition - individual conversion (transaction MD14)
Convert Planned Order to Purchase Requisition - collective conversion (transaction MD15)
Display Planned Orders (transaction MD16)
An SRM central contract can only be used as a source of supply if the contract has the appropriate status in the SRM system, for example, released.
MRP planning run
In simulation mode of the MRP planning run, you can change the source of supply in the detail data of the MRP element purchase requisition
or planned order
(transaction MD02/MD03).
Planned order
When you create, change, and display planned orders, you can select the SRM central contract as a source of supply on the Source of Supply
tab page (transactions MD11, MD12, and MD13).
Conversion of planned orders
When you convert planned orders to purchase requisitions, you can select the SRM central contract as a source of supply in the Procurement Options
