If you use SAP Cloud for Energy in a usage scenario with an integration to SAP Utilities, you use this app to define from which meter reading time series stored in SAP Cloud for Energy the values are requested, and for each meter reading reason, how the values are selected.
For more information and examples, see Configure Meter Reading Requests App.
In the Measuring Period Priority section, you can optionally set priorities of measuring periods. The system considers these settings in the following case:
During the request of measurement values, the system automatically determines the correct reading type code, which describes what type of values are requested from SAP Cloud for Energy.
If, however, more than one reading type code exists that matches the selection criteria, for example a reading type code with a measuring period of 15 minutes, and a reading type code with a measuring period of 60 minutes (all other attributes are the same), the system selects the reading type code based on the settings that you maintain in this section.
For more information, see Configure Meter Reading Requests App.
In the section Measurement Value Selection, you define for each meter reading reason if the first or the last value of the day is selected.
The last value of the day is always the same as the first value of the next day.
If no plausible, measured value is available for the scheduled meter reading date and value selection (timestamp), the system can extend the selection period by the number of days that you maintain as Tolerance Backward and Tolerance Forward for each meter reading reason. The system searches step by step for a valid value within the defined tolerance and selects the value closest to the target date and value selection.
For more information and examples, see Configure Meter Reading Requests App.
