You use this app to configure rules for the detection of anomalies in the data. SAP Cloud for Energy can detect anomalies in the measurement data and anomalies based on smart meter events.
Anomalies can be displayed and processed using the View and Process Anomalies app.
For more information, see Configure Anomaly Detection Rules App.
For more information about anomaly detection in general, see Anomaly Detection.
SAP Cloud for Energy can detect anomalies in the measurement data and anomalies based on smart meter events.
The anomaly detection rules that you configure for anomalies in the measurement data belong to rule type Register-Related.
The anomaly detection rules that you configure for anomalies based on smart meter events belong to rule type Meter-Related.
Depending on the rule type, the attributes that you have to assign to the rule will vary.
Number of days that the system finds the measurement data behave as described by the anomaly detection rule before the anomaly appears in the View and Process Anomalies app for further analysis and processing..
| Anomaly Detection Rule | Number of Days |
|---|---|
| No values received | 3 |
If, for 3 days in a row, no values are received by the system for the configured VEE code and reading type code, this is considered an anomaly and the View and Process Anomalies app lists the registers for which this anomaly was detected.
Shows if the anomaly detection rule is applied to the VEE code and assigned reading types.
| Enabled | Description |
|---|---|
| Yes | The anomaly detection rule is applied. |
| The anomaly detection rule is not applied. |
When you create and configure an anomaly detection rule, you have to explicitly enable it in order for it to take effect.
Access the product documentation and additional resources for SAP Cloud for Energy on the SAP Help Portal.
Select the reading type codes for which the configured rule will be applied.
The reading type codes represent the meter channels.
For anomalies based on smart meter events, you have to configure an anomaly threshold as of which the configured rule is applied.
Enter the minimum number of event occurrences per day.
In combination with the configured number of days, the anomaly threshold determines when the anomaly appears in the View and Process Anomalies app for further analysis and processing.
For more information, see Meter-Level Rules.
If you want other systems to be notified about anomalies that have been detected in the data, you can configure these notifications in this section for the anomaly detection rule you are editing.
Select one or more notification codes and the anomaly duration in days before you want the notification to be sent.
As a prerequisite, the notification codes that you assign here must have been defined in the Configure Anomaly Notifications app. For more information, see Configure Anomaly Notifications App.
