Simple and Composite Profiles

You can manually create two types of profiles:

• Simple (or single-level) profiles contain authorizations.

  Each authorization is identified by the name of an authorization object and the name of the authorization created for the object.

• Composite profiles contain other profiles.

  A composite profile assigns all of the simple or composite profiles it contains to a user.
