In the Visa Validation
tab, you can view and manually update records in Personal ID
(IT0185) for inactive visas, which are those that are not effective anymore. For example, when an employee travels abroad and back with a single exit and reentry visa, this document becomes inactive.
The records from this tab are displayed in a list, which shows the application status for each visa. The following statuses are available:
Status | Description |
---|---|
Broken | Indicates that the record has an issue, for example, the visa has a travel date registered to an expat who is outside of KSA. |
Cancel exit/reentry visa | Self-explanatory |
Confirmed | Self-explanatory |
Penalty | Indicates that the record is in violation of a visa term, for example, the travel before date for the visa has expired for an expat who is in KSA. |
You can search for inactive visas using a number of criteria to narrow your results, such as the application status (for example, to look for canceled visas) or whether the expat is currently inside or outside KSA. Here are some use cases:
Search Type: Outside KSA
Travel Date: Not empty
Return Date: Empty
Return Before Date: Before the current date
Search Type: Inside KSA
Travel Date: Empty
Travel Before Date: Before the current date
Search Type: Inside KSA
Travel Date: Not empty
Return Date: Empty
Search Type: Outside KSA
Travel Date: Empty
For each visa record that you want to update, select a new application status that matches its actual situation. You can also update the travel and return dates. Once you are done, choose Save
