Choose the most relevant influencers for your scenarios.

The following list contains brief descriptions of the available influencers which boost the value of the corresponding product metrics.
  • Add to Cart: Use this influencer to boost the products that are added to cart either frequently or infrequently. This metric does not use any information about what happens with the product after it is added to the cart, so in some cases, there is no correlation between the Add to Cart metric and the Conversion metric.
Note The Add to Cart metric has a statistical confidence threshold. Some unpopular products can have no distinctive value of this metric.
  • Average Unit Retail: This metric is calculated based on the average product price paid by the users within the past 24 hours. Use this influencer to boost either expensive or cheap products in your product mixes.
  • Conversion: This metric is calculated for each product based on the ratio between the number of unique sessions during which a product details page for a certain product is viewed, and the number of purchases of this product. Use this influencer to boost the products with either high or low conversion KPI.
Note Merchandising uses statistical algorithms when calculating conversion-related metrics to prevent false results in case of insignificant confidence. Therefore, some products can have no distinctive Conversion metric value until they pass the statistical confidence threshold.
  • Product Page Views: Merchandising calculates unique sessions during which a product has been viewed. Use this influencer to boost either the most popular products or the least popular products with low number of views.
  • Revenue: This metric is based on the total revenue generated by each product and can be considered a composite metric, combining the Average Unit Retail and Unit Sold metrics. Use this influencer to improve cash flow or boost the products with the lowest revenue.
  • Units Sold: Merchandising calculates this metric based on the number of unique orders containing at least one item of the specific product. Use this influencer to boost either best sellers or the products with the lowest sales rate.

Search or select a category to narrow down the list of products.

You can add and fix a product from the list by dragging the product over to the Product Mix Preview and dropping it in the desired position. The fixed product is marked with a lock icon.

The product is placed in the fixed position and remains there irrespectively of the applied influencers. The positions of the products that have not been fixed remain dynamic.
