Use the Trending Search Terms UI to activate the feature that examines the search phrases entered by users and displays the most popular ones.
In this user interface, you can also define disallowed terms which are search words and phrases the system should ignore and not display in the most popular search terms list.
Allows you to define general settings related to the trending search terms feature.
The available settings include enabling and disabling the feature, as well as defining the mode of term exclusion
Changes made to the settings might take up to several minutes to come into effect.
Displays the list of trending search terms.
Use the toggle to enable or disable the trending search terms feature.
The feature is disabled by default. Toggle the feature on if you want the system to examine search phrases entered by users and display the most popular ones in the storefront.
Choose the mode of term exclusion to define which terms will not appear on the list of the most popular search terms.
Select the Exact Match option to exclude only the words and phrases that exactly match your disallowed terms. The system performs a full-text search, which means that entire search phrases that contain a disallowed term will be excluded from the most popular search results.
Select Similar Terms Match to additionally exclude words and phrases with similar spelling to that on your disallowed terms list.
Define words and phrases that will not appear in the list of the most popular search terms.
The maximum number of characters is 100. You can define up to 1000 terms. If the system doesn't allow you to add a new term, delete one of the previously defined ones.
Search for a specific word or phrase in the Disallowed Terms list.
Add a new word or phrase to the Disallowed Terms list.
Shows available actions.
Click the trash can icon to delete a word or phrase from the Disallowed Terms list.
You can select multiple entries and delete them in bulk.
