The standard Manager Self-Service applications are delivered through the backend role. For more information, see Roles in Manager Self-Service (WDA).

You need to import the Composite Role for Manager Self-Service (WDA) to your SAP Netweaver Portal for manager. Additionally, if you are using the Substitution functionality and would like users who are not managers to act as substitutes, you must import the Single Role for Substitute user in Manager Self-Service (WDA).

You can Import the PFCG role from the SAP Backend System to SAP NetWeaver Portal. For more information see SAP Note 1685257Information published on SAP site

Before uploading the role you should ensure all of the role specific configuration settings, outlined in the SAP Note, have been made.
