Determining Authorizations in the Target System

Prerequisites

The service is activated and has already been executed.

Context

You want to determine which authorizations in the target system are required for specific function calls.

Procedure


  1. Call transaction SICF.

  2. On the selection screen, select the tree structure or substructure that you want to display, and choose Execute.

  3. Select a service in the service hierarchy.

  4. Choose Start of the navigation pathEdit Next navigation step Authorization ProfileEnd of the navigation path

  5. Choose Display.

  6. Choose Value List.

Results

You see a value list that contains all authorization profiles that you require in the target system to execute the function modules of a specific function group. These function modules are called by the chosen service.
