Procedure

  • To be able to use the automatic integration with Logistics, you need to make the following settings in Customizing under Start of the navigation path Treasury and Risk Management Next navigation step Transaction Manager Next navigation step General Settings Next navigation step Exposure Management 2.0 End of the navigation path. For more information, see Setting Up Exposure Management 2.0 and the documentation for the respective Customizing activities.

    For the exposure notifications received from Logistics, you must make the settings that are described under Start of the navigation path Exposure Management 2.0 Next navigation step Define Exposure Activity Types End of the navigation path.

  • Under Start of the navigation path Exposure Management 2.0 Next navigation step Integration with Logistics Next navigation step Assign Exposure Activity Type and Exposure Category to Incoming Exposures End of the navigation path, you use various criteria to specify which exposure activity type and which transaction category are assigned to the incoming exposure notifications.

    You can use the BAdI: Change Assignment of Exposure Activity Type and Exposure Category to change this assignment on the basis of additional criteria.

  • You also need to have defined physical commodities in Customizing. For more information, see Physical Commodity and DCS-Based Market Data Management.

  • You need to create commodity master data in the area menu under Start of the navigation path Treasury and Risk Management Next navigation step Financial Risk Management for Commodities Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Commodity End of the navigation path (transaction FCZZ).

If you have not used Treasury and Risk Management previously, you must also make settings in Customizing for the financial instruments that you want to use to hedge your risks.
