Integrating Enhanced Table Maintenance in Own-Developments

Overview

The extended table maintenance lets you edit table data in a standard maintenance dialog, whether data is accessed directly in the table, or from a view defined in the dictionary.

Putting the maintenance dialog in your own developments simplifies access to table contents, and has the following advantages:

• The programming effort required is considerably reduced.

• The handling is standard, and is comprehensible and user-friendly.

The user-friendliness is a result of the comprehensive functionality, which makes maintenance procedures comprehensible and transparent.

The maintenance dialog lets you see table data on two levels. You can go to a detail screen for a selected entry in the overview screen.
