Use this app to create baselines and update their content.
This app lets you do the following:
Create baselines for a new configuration plan and add them to a lifecycle phase
Pull master data objects from the source system
Manage the status of your baselines
Add attachments
Process and review the content of a baseline and add comments to it
Release the baseline to lock the master data object versions
Assign a baseline to a collaboration
Capture the visualization of your product within the baseline
After you have customized your view in Settings , choose Save As to save your setting.
Choose Manage to set a view for default, for example.
Create a new baseline within this lifecycle phase.

Customize your view settings. Once set, you can save them under My Views in the top left corner of your screen.
Select Export As and define File name and Format.
Easily create a new version of a baseline:
Mark the baseline by selecting the radio button .
Choose Create New Version.
Share your customized screen content via email or bookmark it as a tile on your SAP Fiori launchpad.
In the My Collaboration, you can set up a collaboration and use baselines as a standard reference object. You can attach workflows or tasks to it, for example, an assignment to colleagues for reviewing a baseline. As part of this controlled review process, peers of the project get messages in the My Inbox app.
Change the status of your baseline.

View change history of this baseline. When and by whom were the following events carried out:
Created Baseline
Created New Baseline Version
Status Changed
Pulled Master Data
Added Attachment
Added Comment
Changed Longtext
You can also sort , search , and filter within the history.

The result of the Pull Master Data action is displayed in the table and its details section according to the configuration of the baseline profile. The Product Structure, Product Data, Routing, Document Info Records objects can be shown according to what is defined in the customizing. The user can start navigating in the tree structure as soon as the Product Structure status is set to Synchronized. Routing details can only be viewed once the routing synch status is completed.
If thumbnails are available for the BOM components in a baseline structure, you can display or hide them as needed. If no thumbnail is available, a placeholder icon is displayed.
You can add additional information that describe the controlled object/baseline by uploading attachments and adding URL links.

View a 3D representation of a baseline structure part or assembly by directly navigating from the Manage Baselines app to the Product Structures app.

The source system is configured in the baseline profile that is used for this baseline. Some of the fields are filled automatically, depending on the settings in the baseline profile.
Depending on the data source, different data is pulled into the baseline.
Restore previously deleted items.
