Use this app to create composition item types that can be used to create different composition items, for example nutrients, allergens, diet suitability, and so on.
This app lets you do the following:
Create new composition item types.
Release your composition item type to be able to create composition items with this type.
The ability to create composition items in the system will depend on which composition item types have been created and activated in configuration. At least one Item type will need to be active to be able to maintain composition items in the system.
You can create a composition item type by entering a valid name and ID. You can also translate the name into various languages.

The Composition item type stores a description of the item type that is translatable. You can create an item type by entering a valid name and ID.
You need to maintain at least one active composition item type to create composition items.
The status of the composition item type can be In Work, Released or Obsolete, depending on the activity in the object.
You can edit name, and translation information after creating a composition item type object and setting the status to In Work or Released.
You can delete the composition item type irrespective of the status of the object.
You can't delete a composition item type if it's released and used in a composition item, composition item group or properties.
Once the details are entered and the composition item type is ready to be used, you can set it to Released.
You can use the released composition item type in composition items, composition item groups, and properties.
If a composition item type is created but isn't currently active, you can set it to Obsolete to indicate that the composition item type shouldn't be used.
You can set the composition item type from Released back to In Work if you need to do more work on it before it's ready for use.
You can add one translation per language.
