This app lets you do the following:
Specify the selection of phrases from a phrase collection that a property will allow for use in specifications
Import phrase collections using Microsoft Excel
A phrase collection is a grouping of phrases for a specific purpose. Phrase collections are used to specify the available phrases when configuring properties with a certain set of allowed phrase values.
You create a phrase collection by specifying a Name, an ID, and adding the phrases you want the property to offer.
Phrase collections group phrases for a special purpose, such as "Colors" or "Consistencies". By adding items to a phrase collection, you specify the phrases to be included in properties with a set of allowed phrase values.
Assign phrase items to your collection.
Set a sort order that defines the order of phrases, so that commonly used values are displayed at the top.
By specifying a sort order of items in your phrase collection, you allow the most commonly used phrases to appear at the top.
Add the translations of the phrase collection's name here.
The translation of a phrase text is stored with the phrase object itself.
Phrase collections in bulk can be uploaded in app using an Excel template. Download the Excel template, fill the necessary details and then upload the file into the Phrase Collections app.
The import functionality comprises of two steps:
Download Template: You can save the Excel template to your local machine to enter phrase collection details.
Upload File: Once you’re ready with phrase collection details added to the Excel, choose Upload File to import the phrase collections to the app.
Add details in sequence, such as phrase header details should be entered before phrase collection texts and followed by phrase collection translations.
Phrase collection ID and Phrase collection texts are mandatory fields to be filled with length restriction of for ID being 30 characters.
After downloading the Phrase Collections Excel template to local machine and adding the phrase collection details, upload the file by browsing the file path and importing the file to app.See Import.
You can upload only XLSX files to Phrase Collections app. If any other extension files are uploaded an error message is shown.
