Use this app to create and maintain a bill of material (BOM) from a recipe.
This app lets you do the following:
Planning a BOM from a recipe.
Create, edit, and delete recipe handover.
Publish the planned BOM data from the app to the external data system (SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition).

Defines a substance or object that can be traded, used in manufacture, consumed, or produced. Products are assigned to specifications in the Manage Specifications app.
Specifies key attributes for related recipes, including a status profile, whether a primary output specification can be assigned to the recipe, and the recipe's role in a composition group. Recipe types are created and maintained by the administrator in the Recipe Types app.
Recipe Alternative refers to a separate recipe that produces the same primary output as another recipe, but with different properties like different input materials, processing steps, or validity periods, allowing for flexibility in production depending on specific needs or situations within a plant or region; essentially, it's a backup or variation of a standard recipe for the same product.
Indicates the actual state of a recipe in its lifecycle. Statuses are determined by a status profile assigned to the recipe type and configured in the Manage Statuses app.
Primary output specification stores data about the product or substance that the recipe aims to create.

Choose Edit if you want to edit the handover description, Plant, BOM Usage, and Valid From details.

The delete option is available only for In progress handover status and if the handover hasn't been published even once.
