Migrated FSV Structures in the Manage Chart of Accounts App

In the Manage Chart of Accounts app, you use financial statement versions (FSVs) to view the accounts included in a chart of accounts. The FSVs can be created as global hierarchies using the Manage Global Hierarchies app or as classic FSVs using the Define Financial Statement Version app. Since it is possible to migrate classic FSVs to global hierarchies, the behavior of the Manage Chart of Accounts app has been adjusted as follows: Once an FSV has been migrated to a global hierarchy, it is only available for display in this app. The app shows the state of the FSV at the time of migration. Later changes made in the Manage Global Hierarchies app will not be displayed in the app. You can no longer create new G/L accounts and add them to the migrated FSV. It also not possible to assign a migrated FSV to a new G/L account that you create in the app.
