Use of /Metadata to Request a List of Facts and Dimensions

You can use the /metadata endpoint of the Analytical Reporting - View Management API to request a list of all supported facts and dimensions.

To request a list of supported facts and dimensions, create a query using this model:

{{runtime_url}}/metadata?realm=myRealm&product=analytics&select=documentType

The query response is returned in JSON format, and it includes a complete list of document types in the documentType fields. These can be passed back in to the /metadata API as values of the documentType query parameter.
