Copying Pages

Prerequisites

You havve created the page that you want to copy using role maintenance (transaction PFCG).

Context

When you copy a page, it is copied in your current configuration with the layout and the CHIP usages. You are creating a copy of the application and component configuration.

Procedure

  1. You are in the ABAP Workbench (SE80). Display Web Dynpro component WDR_CHIP_PAGE, and in Web Dynpro explorer under Start of the navigation pathWeb Dynpro Applications Next navigation step wdr_chip_page Next navigation step Application ConfigurationsEnd of the navigation path select the page you want to copy.
  2. Open the context menu and choose Test.
  3. To switch to the configuration mode, choose Start of the navigation pathChange Adaptation Level Next navigation step ConfigurationEnd of the navigation path.
  4. Choose Copy Page and enter a name and description for the copy.

    After you have saved it, the copy of the page is available for use.
