Editing Operations/Phases

Prerequisites

The following data has been created in the system:

  • The general data of the master recipe header

  • The control recipe destinations that are responsible for carrying out the phases (see Customizing for Process Management )

  • The resources that are used to carry out the operations and phases

  • Any standard texts that you want to copy to the long text of operations and phases (see Editing Standard Texts )

Procedure

  1. Go to the operation overview ( Operations tab page) of your master recipe.

  2. From the recipe overview, you can access the operation overview by double-clicking the corresponding recipe.

  3. Enter operation and phase data on the operation overview.

The following table tells you:

  • Which fields are important for operations and which are used for phases

  • For which fields a default value may have been defined

You can change the default values in the recipe, provided that they have not been marked as references in the resource.

If required, you can also change the recipe profile in the recipe (see Changing Recipe Profiles in Recipes ).

If you must enter standard values for an operation or phase, the system automatically takes you to the Standard values tab page .

Enter the standard values as required.

  1. If you want to enter further detail data, double-click the relevant operation or phase on the operation overview.

  2. Choose the General data , Standard values , or User fields tab page and enter data as required. For more information, see:

If you have replaces the resource of an operation in step 2, do not forget to check all standard values of the operation and its phases.
