Shift-Related Confirmation You can show the
Shift
field in certain confirmation transactions. In addition, you can specify whether the system is to prepopulate this field with a default shift. At the time of confirmation, you can then specify a shift. The confirmed quantities and activities then bear a direct relation to the shift entered. This enables you to run evaluations to determine which what was produced for which orders in which shift or which shift produced the most scrap, for example.
You can show the
Shift
field in the following confirmation transactions:
Time ticket (single-screen entry) CO11N/COR6N
Confirmation production/process order (order header) CO15/CORK
Display confirmation CO14/CORT
Cancel confirmation CO13/CORS
You have created at least one shift grouping with shift definition and shift sequence under
Capacity Planning
in the IMG activity
Define Shift Sequence
in Customizing for the work center.
You have assigned the
shift grouping
to the work center for which you subsequently want to enter the confirmation in the
header data
on the
Capacities
tab page.
You have created an entry consisting of
plant
and
order type
in Customizing for
Shop Floor Control
under
in the IMG activity
Define Confirmation Parameters
.
In the
Proposal
field in the
Shift
area on the
Individual Entry General
tab page, you specify which shift the system is to propose (set as the default value) in a confirmation. However, the setting made here is effective in the following cases only:
In the confirmation of the order header (CO15 and CORK) if you have set the
Header Confirmation
indicator.
In the time ticket (single-screen entry) CO11N/ COR6N, if you have set the
order-type-dependent shift
in the Customizing settings for
single-screen
entry.
You can choose between the following options in the
Proposal
(default value) field:
Shift not used
With this setting, the
Shift
field is not visible on the entry screen for the confirmation.
No shift
With this setting, the
Shift
field is visible in the confirmation but there is no default (proposed) value. You must manually choose a shift when entering the confirmation.
Current shift
With this setting, the system proposes the shift that best suits the current local date and time.
Previous shift
With this setting, the system proposes the shift that lies before the current shift.
Shift for planned date
Finish Execution
With this setting, the system proposes a shift that matches up with the planned date
Latest Scheduled Finish: Execution (Date)
If this date lies in the future, the shift that matches up with the current local date and time is proposed.
If the system finds more than one suitable shift, it does not propose any shift.
If you are using the
time ticket (single-screen entry)
, you have created a confirmation profile for the time ticket in Customizing for
Shop-Floor Control
under
in the IMG activity
Define Single-Screen Entry
. If you set the
Standard Profile
indicator fort he confirmation profile, the system generally uses this confirmation profile for the entry of time tickets.Make the following settings in the confirmation profile:
On the
Area Selection
tab page, choose the
Personnel: Shift
area and specify a
pushbutton text
(such as Shift). This text then appears in the time ticket together with the Shift field.
In the
Shift
field on the
Default Settings
tab page, specify whether the system is to use a
fixed shift grouping
. In this case, you must stipulate a shift grouping.
Alternatively, you can choose the setting
order-type-dependent shift
. The system cannot then determine the shift in the confirmation until the order and operation/phase number is entered. However, this setting has the advantage that you can specify exactly which shift is to be proposed in the confirmation parameters. You can thus specify that the preceding shift is always to be proposed, for example.
If you want to use a confirmation profile on a user-specific basis, you must specify the parameter ID
CORUPROF
and the
profile
as the parameter value on the
Parameters
tab page in transaction SU3 (maintenance of own user parameters).
The system shows the
Shift
field in the
Actual Data
area of the transactions CO15 and CORK. If you have set the confirmation parameters appropriately in Customizing, the system already proposes a suitable shift for entry of the confirmation in this field.
In determining the shift to be proposed, the system proceeds as follows:
The system determines the operation with the highest operation number. This operation must be confirmable. Whether or not an operation is confirmable depends on the control key of the operation.
The system adopts the shifts from the shift grouping that you entered in the work center of the operation. If you have not assigned a shift grouping to the work center, the system uses the shift grouping 0. The shift grouping 0 is the standard shift grouping.
Note
The shift grouping 0 is not supplied by SAP. SAP recommends that you create this shift grouping.
You can override the shift proposal determined using the BAdI COCF_ORDCNF
Change Shift and Quantity Layout
.
The system determines the possible shifts for confirmation with the time ticket as follows:
If you have set a
fixed shift grouping
in the confirmation profile of the time ticket (single-screen entry), the system offers the shifts of this shift grouping for selection via the input help in the confirmation..
If you have set order-type-dependent shift in the confirmation profile of the time ticket in Customizing, you must enter the number of the confirmation or the order number and the operation in the confirmation to enable the system to determine a shift.
The possible shifts are then determined from the actual work center. In the determination process, the system proceeds as follows:
The system searches through the defined available-capacity intervals, also taking the current version of the available capacity and the factory calendar into account. All shifts valid as at the posting date are allowed and the user can choose the most suitable shift from this set of shifts.
If no available-capacity interval contains a shift definition, the intervals are not taken into account. Instead, the system determines all shift definitions contained in the shift grouping entered in the work center and offers them for selection.
If the work center does not contain a shift grouping, the system uses the shift grouping 0.
If shift definitions exist neither in the available-capacity interval nor in the grouping, it is not possible to enter a shift.
