Deleting an Object

Prerequisites

You delete development objects only if they are not used by other objects. To find out if they are still in use, use the Where-Used List function.

Procedure

To delete an object from the object list:

1. Select the object.
2. Choose Delete from the context menu.
3. Confirm the action by choosing Yes or  with the quick info text Delete.

If you want to delete several objects from a single object list, select them by holding down the CTRL or SHIFT key and then follow steps 2 to 4 as described above. You will need to repeat step 3 for each individual object. See also Using Set Mode.

Result

Both the active and the inactive version of the object will be deleted.
