List Browser

Use

You use this function to display and classify objects in the List Browser of the Classification Toolset.

You have opened the List Browser of the Classification Browser (transaction SCLAS) by choosing the Switch to List View pushbutton.

The List Browser provides you with a list-based display of the selected objects. The columns are organized in the following way:

Main Object and Subobjects
For more information, see Object Types and Object Type Groups.
Classification
Refers to the columns containing icons, values and remarks for a characteristic.

Note

Up to three columns are used for the icons, values, and remarks of each key characteristic, therefore the number of key characteristics that can be displayed is limited.
Description of the Object
The description is hidden if there is no description for all selected objects.
Package, Software Component, Application Component
Description of the package, software component and application component to which the classified object belongs
Original System
The original system of the object.
Project
The C-Project ID is displayed only if the project filter is set.

If implicit classifications are allowed, it is possible to set links between the classifications of objects. These links can be displayed or changed using the Object Link Editor. For more information, see Creating Object Links.
