Archiving Secured Messages

Use

For non-repudiation purposes, signed messages are stored in a dedicated archive, the non-repudiation archive . It contains data to prove the validity of the signature. The following data is stored:

• The raw message

• The security policy as configured in the Integration Directory

• The sender certificate

Signed messages are stored in different archives depending on the messaging component:

• The Integration Server stores messages in the ordinary ABAP messages archive

• The Java components (Advanced Adapter Engines) use the AS Java message archive, which can be monitored and administered by using the Runtime Workbench or the local SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
