Defining an Alternative FinProf Fiscal Year
You can also use feature BETAX
(TAX Declaration: Closing Payroll Period of Actual Tax Period
) when the fiscal year does not correspond to the calendar year. This could be the case, for instance, within areas related to the public sector. A second return value defines the ending period of the fiscal year. The FinProf declaration periods are then converted accordingly.
Example
The fiscal year 2006 ends in November 2006. With feature BETAX
, the following settings are possible:
The payroll in-period 200611 is declared as the last period of fiscal year 2006, that is, FinProf period 2006-12.
The payroll in-period 200612 is declared as the first period of fiscal year 2007, that is, FinProf period 2007-01.
