Consistency Check on Budget Objects

Use

This function enables you to carry out a consistency check on budget objects in a budget structure (BS) that you defined using individual objects.

The system checks if a complete hierarchy of budget objects is guaranteed and if superior objects for all budget objects exist.

Features

Consistency in the BS is guaranteed if:

  • the superior commitment item of the same funds center is a budget object

  • or if the same commitment item is defined as a budget object on the level directly above

    Note Note

The BS is consistent if the superior budget object is not more than “1 center level and 0 item levels” or “0 center levels and 1 item level” away.

    End of the note.
